(DWTS Week 1 Results)

The HOOK* worked overtime as DWTS Results Show did a DOUBLE elimination ousting one man and one woman from this season's lineup. The Results show kinda annoys me in that they have to spend a full hour with so much filler cause the actual "results" part only takes 3.5 minutes. So the highlights were:

Sammy's Hair - The LONG locks were back!

Sean Kingston - Sang a song.

The Losers Club - VERY funny segment. Loved all the past STARS who participated in the sketch.

Miley Cyrus' New Video - Ok, she didn't look too Disney in THAT video clip. Sheesh!

Adam Carolla's Locker Room sketch - A HOOT!! Seriously, the guy cracks me up.

Performance from the cast of The Lion King production - Animals stampeded the ballroom and several studio audience members were crushed!! LIIIIVE!! (JK!!) Cool costumes and yes, I sang along with the Circle of Life.

Dance Pros' Tribute to Patrick Swayze - THE highlight of the night imo. Dancing the final big dance scene from Dirty Dancing was GREAT! LOVED that Tony was the part of Patrick Swayze and Cheryl (Woo hoo!) as Baby. (And nobody puts Baby in a corner!)

The Results of Week 1 - Ashley Hamilton for the men and Macy Gray for the women. Both predictable and deserved.

That wrapped up DWTS Week 1. More dancing ahead so stay tuned.

(*The HOOK refers to the old Vaudeville Shows where the giant hook would come out on stage from the curtain wings and pull the bad entertainers off the stage.)
